I have been involved in the software industry for the last 30 years. I have worked in commercial software, Air Traffic Control Systems and for the last 17 years in the Defense Sector.

I have coded in various languages including C, C++, C#, Ada, Fortran, SQL, Visual Basic and Java,  I am a Certified Java Programmer, although people who know me think I should be certified for other things ….

I am also extremely interested in Agile management techniques and have run a number of successful projects using Scrum and Kanban. If your project hasn’t tried Agile, do it, but do it properly there’s no half way house with Agile if you wish to see the benefits.

I enjoy music, fishing, reading, software development and spending time with my family.
